1930s Carved Bone Tiled Bead Elasticated Bracelet
Carved bone jewellery was popular from the Victorian era, maybe earlier, as a replacement alternative for ivory. This bracelet is made from hand carved square shaped tile beads and round beads strung together with elastic. The elastic has been replaced with black shirring elastic, you might choose to rethread with white or cream colour instead.
- Hand carved bovine ox bone beads.
- Elasticated link bracelet.
- Flower design.
- 1930s may be earlier.
Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they’re usually smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing.
