Vlog 7 - A village wedding
🎺 This week we go from the cutest village wedding belle and bells to allotment shenanigans — with a new chazza find black silk dress, and Heath Robinson plans to deter the peskies from scoffing my veg.
Welcome to the village — where a chic military wedding sets the scene for a very British kind of day, comments about being in a Richard Curtis movie scene were aplenty. I pop in for a glimpse of tradition and pageantry, then it’s back to the garden for allotment action.
The deer are apparently the worst problem, as well as badgers and rabbits and the pesky cabbage white butterfly. So the plot to protect my plot thickens... my carrots may well looking tempting once I have some growing. But my flimsy curtain rail netting had better be the curtain call for Bambi and friends.
