This policy is offered in addition to your legal rights

I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
RETURNS PROCEDURE: The buyer must make written contact with me first to discuss returning a purchase BEFORE returning the item.

Returns and exchange details
Unworn items can be returned for a refund, exchange or store credit, store credits can also be used at our etsy store, DillyDandy. Please contact us within 3 days of original delivery, item must be shipped with tracking and insurance to the value of the item at cost to buyer, within 7 days of original delivery. Package must be double bagged securely.

Customs charge are not collected by or refunded by us.

Refund will be minus original shipping costs plus a 10% restocking fee.

Please message us for return address. 

If we allow a return after 7 days then a rental fee (3% per day beginning on 8th day, ending when return reaches us) is deducted from credit.

Layaway purchases (including items held for 10 days or more while awaiting payment) can be returned for store credit minus a 20% return fee. Exchange credits are not applicable to existing layaway and can not be used on other discounted or Sale items, exchange credit cannot be used to pay the shipping cost of an item sent in exchange, that shipping will be billed separately. 
No purchase is eligible for a cash refund.

If an item has been worn or damaged by the customer the devaluation of the item will be taken into consideration and deducted from the total credit.

Once it is agreed that you can return the item: Please package the item well ensuring it is waterproof and in packaging which is fit for transit to ensure the item does not get damaged during shipping (i.e. do not over-stuff envelopes/boxes or used well-worn recycled packaging materials). Double bag where possible. Please ensure YOUR name and address is also on the package in case the package gets misplaced during transit and cannot be forwarded to me. If the package is returned to you because of a mistake made by you with regard to addressing the package or incorrect completion of a customs form or your country's postal service fault then you must resend at your expense. If the package gets returned due to a mistake or problem at my end (i.e. either I or Royal Mail is at fault) then I will pay to have the item resent. 

If you wish to return an item from a country outside of the European Union, please note that you MUST complete a customs declaration indicating that the package contains "RETURNED GOODS" (as well as stating "used clothing", "used jewellery", etc). If you fail to do this, I unable to accept any import charges or taxes incurred in order for the package to reach me.

FOOTWEAR AND HATS: I do not accept any returns on these items as they are notoriously impossible to give extremely accurate measurements in the crucial areas such as the height of the foot arch which is never the same on any two people. Footwear and hats are purchased at the buyer’s risk.

ADDITION NOTES ABOUT VINTAGE FOOTWEAR: footwear manufactured in the period up until the 1970s which are made from man-made materials have what is called an “inherent vice” i.e. a flaw which worsens over the passage of time. As the soles are glued rather than stitched, the glue used to adhere the soles to the uppers degenerates to a powder as they age meaning the soles will most likely come away from the uppers after one or a few wears. I recommend therefore that the buyer takes precautionary action by having the soles RE-GLUED prior to wearing. I do not accept returns on vintage footwear which has this inherent vice.
