Rare 1910s Men's Lightweight Gabardine Sack Jacket
So rare this early part of the 20th century beige gabardine Summer lightweight jacket. The shape gently flares out from the chest, with the Edwardian 1910s style of cut of sack jacket. It is partially lined for the hottest seasons and best of all it is in a larger size with long arms. This coat was worn for all occasions including leisure wear.
- The sleeves sitting high up in the arm as per Edwardian style
- Three button novelty sack coat
- You can see the shape of the cut better on image 3.
- 2 front pockets with flap and a breat pocket.
- Half lined on the shoulders for hot weather wear.
Size Measurements taken when laid flat edge to edge absolute:
- 42" chest. Pictured on a 38" chest mannequin.
Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they usually are at least 2 sizes smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing

If they're likely to have attracted a moth then they go straight in the freezer for a few days to kill eggs, this is especially so with fur.
