Men’s Vintage 1960 Three Piece Tweed Suit
A tailor made 3 piece tweed check suit, dated February 1960. With belted back, turn up cuffs and button fly trousers with buttons for braces.
The waistcoat has very pointy front feature with 4 slanted pockets. Made for a tall Lt Colonel. The jacket has twin back vents. This is a beautifully made quality brown tweed red windowpane check suit.

Condition- this is in fabulous condition generally, the only flaw is a couple of small darn repairs to the left leg, see images.
Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they’re usually smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing.
