I love this coat it's been really well made and is structurally sound. The fabric is interesting with a pale blue and white stripe that is part of the weave and not printed.  The style is Edwardian drape coat, I’m not convinced it that old but the buttons are a beautiful swirly deep blue galalith early plastic, so it could be 1930s - early 60s. It’s fabulous quality with the stripes forming ribs of colour in the texture of the fabric. Similar to an enlarged faille.
  • Lovely pearly blue galalith buttons.
  • Made by Jaguar.
Measures edge to edge laid flat:
  • 38" chest
  • 15" across shoulders
  • 21.5" sleeve length
  • 40" hip
  • 37" length
Condition: It has been dry cleaned but there are still areas of discolouration with dusty looking areas even though it has been cleaned. Mostly the inside collar and edges, sleeves and collar. It is still fab and wearable though.
SIZING

Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they’re  usually smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing.

To compare measurements with sizes click the pink side tab on the right of the screen.
