1940s Vintage Tailored Black Beaded Skirt Suit • Volup
Smashing volup bombshell fitted black gaberdine skirt suit, with a tailored hourglass beaded jacket that fits nice and snug to the hips. The calf length skirt has two kick pleats on either side. The faux pocket flaps at the front of the jacket are chevron shaped that mirror the chevron of the black glass beads on the jacket shoulders, which is lovely detail as are the gorgeous domed faceted black glass buttons.

- 40" bust
- 30" waist
- 15" across shoulders
- 23" sleeve length
- 24 back length

- 31" length
Generally It is in very good ready to wear condition but there are a couple of wounded areas to the skirt, a small hole on the front waist band and a few teeny pinholes inside one of the kick pleats. The left pocket flap of the jacket needs a few stitches.
Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they’re usually smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing.
