1970s Vintage Anna Belinda A-Line Tent Dress • Smock Dress
This is the most comfortable dress whilst making you feel ultra feminine, don’t know how but it is truly magical. Wonderful Anna Belinda sleeveless tent dress that flares out and out and out with yards of blue linen like fabric with floral print detail on the yoke, pockets and her typical Liberty print contrasting deep frill at the hem.
This dress has pockets on the front and buttons down the back to fasten, it is so simple yet wonderful. I haven’t seen this particular design of hers before, so it appears to be quite a rarity.

Condition is generally very good, the issues to note are one of the blue fabric covered buttons is missing and has been replaced with an odd one. I was going to move one of the lower buttons up to replace as it wouldn’t matter so much but thought I would leave for you to decide.
The outer dress is great but the lining to the frill at the hem has some moth holes, these don’t penetrate through, it is contained to the lining only. See all images to illustrate.
Vintage sizing is very different to modern day sizes, they’re usually smaller depending on the era of manufacture. So to ensure a good fit please go by the measurements provided. I measure the garment laid flat edge to absolute edge then double, which give the maximum, you will need to measure your own clothes to compare sizing.
To compare measurements with sizes click the pink side tab on the right of the screen.
