Fabulous and rare 1930s/40s wartime, little dyed wood bead articulated figure brooch with a hand painted face. The shape and style of the beads are very much like the ones Miriam Haskell with Frank Hess used on their early work. This is such a fun wooden dangley little man.
  • Two wooden cog beads on the main bar with the figure dangling at the centre
  • Very much in the early 40s style of a Miriam Haskell Frank Hess collaboration
  • The beads have been dyed red, blue and green with a painted face
  • Approx 2.5" long
